About Parkersburg Comprehensive Treatment Center
Parkersburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is one of West Virginia’s leading medication-assisted treatment centers for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines the use of prescription medications with counseling to give patients a well-rounded approach to opioid addiction treatment. Many methadone clinics are only capable of providing patients with one type of medication, but at Parkersburg CTC, we are able to prescribe methadone, naltrexone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone. The specific type of medication a patient receives is based on their personal circumstances and the state of their health. In addition to receiving medication, patients are also able to participate in individual and group counseling. During individual sessions, patients meet one-on-one with a counselor, while group sessions give them the opportunity to meet with peers who may have had similar experiences. In both settings, patients can discuss their concerns, address setbacks, develop coping skills, and receive support and encouragement. Located in Parkersburg, West Virginia, our CTC is an optimal choice for patients to begin the road to recovery.
