About Gifford Street Comprehensive Treatment Center
Located in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Gifford Street Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services for adults who are struggling with opioid addictions. MAT combines individual and group counseling with a medication that is prescribed based on an individual’s needs. This gives patients a comprehensive treatment experience as they navigate their way toward recovery. Historically, methadone clinics only offered one medication. Gifford Street CTC offers naltrexone, buprenorphine, methadone, and Suboxone, all of which are used in the treatment of opioid use disorder. We feature individual and group counseling to complement the use of these medications. The counseling services at our treatment center can help patients determine the reasons behind their struggles with opioid use and discuss ways to make positive behavioral changes.
