About Lakeland Behavioral Health System

Located in Springfield, Missouri, Lakeland Behavioral Health System is a provider of comprehensive mental healthcare services for children, adolescents, and senior adults. Our treatment center is uniquely designed to meet the needs of specific populations at varying levels of care. Our inpatient program serves boys and girls ages 4-17, offering separate units for younger children, adolescent females, and adolescent males. We also have an inpatient unit specifically for senior adults age 60 and older. In our residential programs, we provide gender-specific care for males and females ages 7-18, and we run a separate program for boys who are struggling with sexually maladaptive behaviors. Additionally, we operate Lakeland Regional School, where young people can receive their education in a therapeutically supportive environment. We provide every patient with an individualized treatment plan based on their identified needs so that we can best help them succeed as they learn to manage their symptoms, develop coping skills, and ultimately thrive after treatment comes to an end.
