my recovery is very important to me, in fact, it is somethin i must place very high on my list of priorities. but it doesnt mean i can forget about the other priorities in my life either. my sponsor suggested to me, early in my recovery, i needed to rearrange my priorities in such a manner that God, my recovery, and service toward others be the 1st three items on my priority list or all else would falter. surely i took the time to focus on my recovery while i lived in the halfway house i was stayin at. i had the luxury of knowin my wife and children were taken care of. there came a time when i was prepared to leave the halfway house and resume a life usin what i had learned. and most def, my family, was a part of the third priority on my list. if i owed an amends anybody, it was them. i was to resume what ev family obligations i needed to. as ive continued to trudge this journey, my family has grown, and our relationships have evolved. it is coz of this thing we do, i get to have the relationships i have with each of em. 1 day @ a time...
