recovery has given me the ability to look within with healthy intention. i must 1st mention this before goin any further. i have a trusted friend in recovery who taught me likin what i find in anythin is optional, meanin i may not like what i see, its my preference. havin said that, when i am honest with myself, am willin to accept personal responsibility, use meditation, can courageously use self-reflection, trust myself, take the time for self-care, and spend time alone, repairin the damage ive caused or done, becomes a healthy emotional, behavioral, and psychological spiritual experience. i must remember when attemptin these thorough and painstakin self-assessments, i must be willin to go to any length for success over alcohol and my alcoholism. as long as i do not procrastinate, communicate with my HP, move forward with my sponsor or trusted friend in recovery, i can take healthy breaks when makin these rigorous and scrupulous dives into self-examination. my goal in doin this is to repair any damage ive done, not cause more. i get another growth opportunity to get better. 1 day @ a time...
