recovery has taught me the ills of intolerance. when i was out doin my dirt i lived by intolerance, even though i thought i was the lovin inclusive person. as i thumbed through the personal inventorys presented and written, i learned just how intolerant i had been. i had set forth philosophical values and immoral concepts which i couldnt even live up to. and wouldnt ya know it, as i grew deeper into my alcoholism, i ventured into each of those personal rules of intolerance. today i may still live with some intolerance, but i feel like as long as i talk em over with trusted friends in recovery and seek my HPs wisdom and intuitive strength, i get to live through em toward better effect so i may become the best person i can be. brotherly love is not intolerant. 1 day @ a time...
