as i have grown in my recovery my response to catalysts which used to send me deep into chaos and bewilderment, keepin me baffled, in search of self-willed resolution, have waned. i do not shoot from the hip with words, behavior, or action today. recovery has taught me healthy solutions so i do not make such patterns of behavior, actions in which i need to make latter amends for. this thing we do has taught me to take in the moment and process how i need to take action or let the moment pass. today, as i continue to take personal moral inventorys, realizin and identifyin when i make mistakes, this thing we do has taught me to surrender to my lapses in judgement, admit my faults, and make an amends as soon as i can. this is perseverance in action. this simple second of prayer and meditation has saved my ass countless times throughout my stretch in recovery. 1 day @ a time...
