About Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can be one of the most effective treatment options for people who are struggling with addictions to opioids. MAT combines counseling with the use of prescription medications, providing patients with a truly comprehensive approach to care. Located in Wichita, Kansas, Wichita Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers MAT for adults age 18 and older. Unlike other methadone clinics, we are able to provide prescriptions for multiple types of medications, including methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine. The medication a person takes is determined based on their individual needs and the state of their health. In addition to the use of these FDA-approved medications, patients at our treatment center can participate in individual and group therapy. These counseling sessions offer an opportunity to explore the reasons why a person may have begun using opioids while also giving them the support and encouragement they need as they begin their recovery journey.
