About Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center
Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, provides outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. MAT combines counseling and medication to offer individuals an integrated approach to opioid addiction treatment. At Ann Arbor CTC, patients may receive prescriptions for methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, or buprenorphine. These FDA-approved medications have proved to be effective in reducing the uncomfortable symptoms of withdrawal, allowing patients to begin treatment without experiencing cravings for opioids. Unlike other types of methadone clinics, we offer group and individual counseling to complement the use of medication. These counseling sessions give patients a chance to explore the possible reasons why they began using opioids, process their experiences, and learn the skills necessary for making lasting behavioral changes.
