About Bellingham Comprehensive Treatment Center
Bellingham Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT is an evidence-based treatment approach to opioid addiction that incorporates prescription medications and counseling. Many methadone clinics only offer one medication for patients who are seeking recovery. At Bellingham CTC, patients may receive a prescription for buprenorphine or methadone. These medications allow adults to begin treatment without experiencing the distressing effects of withdrawal. Bellingham CTC also offers group and individual counseling services so that patients can process their experiences and identify things that may have contributed to their opioid use. Medication-assisted treatment is designed to help individuals regain control of their lives.
