About Brockton Comprehensive Treatment Center
Located in Brockton, Massachusetts, Brockton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with counseling services to offer patients an integrated approach to opioid addiction treatment. Depending on their unique circumstances, patients at our treatment center may receive a prescription for Suboxone or methadone. Both medications help reduce the uncomfortable symptoms of withdrawal, which allows patients to begin treatment without experiencing cravings for opioids. Unlike other methadone clinics, Brockton CTC offers group and individual counseling to complement the use of prescription medication. Group counseling gives patients the opportunity to meet with other individuals who may share similar experiences, while individual counseling gives patients the opportunity to speak with a professional about their concerns. MAT can help people learn to control certain addictive behaviors and achieve long-term recovery.
