About East Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center

Located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, East Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading outpatient opioid addiction treatment program for adults age 18 and older. We offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines the use of prescription medication with talk therapy. Researchers have studied MAT for decades, and it has proved highly effective in the treatment of opioid addiction. Many methadone clinics can only offer prescriptions for one medication as part of their MAT programming, but we are able to prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone. The medication a person receives is determined based on the results of an assessment they complete prior to admission. All medications used in MAT alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal, which increases the likelihood that patients will be able to fully engage in the therapeutic process. We also offer individual and group therapy, which gives patients time to meet one-on-one with a counselor and in a group setting with others who may be experiencing similar challenges. Both types of therapy can give patients the support and encouragement they need to be successful in their recovery.
