Located in Portland, Oregon, East Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is the area’s leading provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. MAT is a type of treatment that combines the use of prescription medication with counseling. With decades of research backing its effectiveness, MAT is highly recommended by respected agencies like the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. At some methadone clinics, patients can only receive a prescription for one type of medication. But at East Portland CTC, we are able to prescribe buprenorphine, methadone, and Suboxone, depending on a person’s needs and the state of their health. We also offer individual and group therapy to complement our medication management services. In individual therapy, patients meet one-on-one with a counselor, while in group therapy, they have the opportunity to meet with other patients who are also struggling with addictions.
