About Farrell Comprehensive Treatment Center
Farrell Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading outpatient opioid addiction treatment program in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Our program utilizes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines the use of prescription medication with talk therapy. The staff at our treatment center provides prescriptions for methadone, which has proved to ease the distressing symptoms of withdrawal. By taking this medication, patients are less likely to return to their use of opioids and can instead focus on the therapeutic process. In addition to prescribing and monitoring patients’ medications, we also offer individual and group therapy. Individual therapy involves patients meeting one-on-one with a qualified counselor in a confidential setting. Here, they can discuss any concerns they may have, track their treatment progress, and work together to develop coping skills that can help prevent future relapse. In group therapy, patients meet with other adults who are battling addictions, giving them the opportunity to share support with others who may have had similar experiences. The encouragement a person gains from these counseling sessions can have an immensely beneficial impact on their ability to achieve and sustain sobriety.
