About Huntingdon Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center

Huntingdon Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading provider of outpatient opioid addiction treatment. Located in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. MAT is an evidence-based treatment that combines the use of prescription medication with talk therapy. The types of medications used in MAT will vary based on the methadone clinic a person goes to. At our CTC, patients can receive prescriptions for methadone and Suboxone, depending on their needs and the state of their health. In addition to medication, patients have access to individual and group therapy. While in individual therapy, patients meet one-on-one with a counselor and can discuss their treatment progress, learn coping skills to help prevent relapse, and gain a better understanding of the psychological aspects of addiction. In group therapy, patients benefit from meeting with other people who have had similar struggles, giving them the opportunity to share support. Having this level of support and encouragement can have a lasting positive impact on their ability to overcome their addictive behaviors.
