About North Wilkesboro Comprehensive Treatment Center
North Wilkesboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are battling opioid addictions. MAT combines counseling with the use of prescription medication, and decades of research has demonstrated its effectiveness in treating opioid use disorder. Methadone clinics will vary in the type of medications they prescribe. At our CTC, we can provide prescriptions for buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone, depending on a person’s needs and the state of their health. Additionally, we offer individual and group therapy. Individual therapy consists of a patient meeting one-on-one with a qualified counselor, while group therapy gives patients time to meet with other patients who are also struggling with opioid addictions. Both group and individual therapy can help patients learn how to identify triggers and practice coping skills that can help prevent future relapse. These sessions can also provide patients with the support they need to thrive on their recovery journeys.
