About Rio Vista Behavioral Health Hospital
Located in El Paso, Texas, Rio Vista Behavioral Health offers inpatient services for adolescents ages 11-17 and adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health disorders and substance use disorders. Based on the specific needs of each individual, our staff customizes a treatment plan that may incorporate evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Patients can benefit from individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management services, and recreational therapy. The team at Rio Vista Behavioral Health understands the importance of customizing care to meet the needs of specific populations. To do this, we offer treatment in separate units: a general unit for youths ages 11-17, a general unit for adults age 18 and older, a psychiatric intensive care unit for adults age 18 and older, and a specialty unit for older adults and patients who have coexisting medical concerns. Rio Vista Behavioral Health incorporates evidence-based best practices through a variety of therapies to address the concerns of each patient.
