About Southern Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center
At Southern Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we are dedicated to helping individuals overcome their struggles with opioid addiction. Located in Charlestown, Indiana, we provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who want to end their opioid use. MAT combines talk therapy with the use of certain prescription medications for a fully comprehensive approach to care. There are some methadone clinics that are only capable of offering one medication, but at Southern Indiana CTC, we are able to prescribe Suboxone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and methadone. These FDA-approved medications have shown to be successful in decreasing the effects of withdrawal, which can allow patients to fully engage in the treatment process while also preventing them from using drugs again. The individual and group counseling services we offer complement the use of medication by giving patients the opportunity to discuss their concerns and process their experiences both in one-on-one settings and in group settings with their peers.
