About Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center
Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Murrieta, California, is an outpatient opioid use disorder program that offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals age 18 and older. MAT combines the use of prescription medication and counseling in the treatment of opioid addiction. Unlike methadone clinics that only offer one type of medication, our treatment center can prescribe Suboxone, methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. Each patient receives an assessment prior to admission, and that assessment helps determine which medication will be most beneficial for them. In addition to receiving medication, patients can take part in individual and group therapy. These sessions are designed to give individuals time to process their experiences and learn more about the behavioral and psychological aspects of addiction. During individual therapy, patients meet one-on-one with a counselor, while group therapy gives them an opportunity to meet with other patients and develop a support network that can be of benefit long after their time in treatment has come to an end.
