About Williamson Comprehensive Treatment Center
A leading provider of opioid addiction treatment, Williamson Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers care for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid use disorder. With an understanding that addiction is a disease, the staff at our treatment center believes that one must receive well-rounded care to truly heal. For this reason, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which utilizes both medication and counseling to help individuals begin their recovery journey. Unlike other types of methadone clinics, we can offer prescriptions for more than just one medication. Depending on a patient’s needs, they may receive buprenorphine, naltrexone, Suboxone, or methadone. These FDA-approved medications are known to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal, which can help prevent people from continuing to use opioids. To complement the use of medication, patients can also participate in individual and group counseling sessions, where they can meet one-on-one with a counselor as well as with peers to process the psychological and behavioral aspects that may be contributing to their opioid use.
