Our next Super Saturday Recovery Summit is set for Saturday, February 20th beginning at 1pm EST. Presenters at this month’s summit include Enod Gray, Kristin Snowden, and Dr. David Fawcett.
Enod Gray, 1 p.m. Eastern
Neglect: The Silent Abuser
Enod Gray was born, raised and currently lives in Houston, Texas. She has been a clinical psychotherapist and counselor for more than 25 years. She treats individuals, couples, and groups for a variety of conditions, including addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Throughout her career, she noticed that an issue seldom discussed is that of childhood neglect and its impact. As a result she made this a special area of focus. Her Super Saturday presentation is based on her book, Neglect: The Silent Abuser. If you or someone you know suffered childhood neglect, this discussion is certain to resonate.
Kristin Snowden, 3 p.m. Eastern
Life Anonymous: 12 Steps to Heal and Transform Your Life
Kristin M. Snowden, a non-addict and therapist, and Scott Brassart, a long-recovering addict and author, have both worked and benefitted from the 12 Steps. And they have both wondered why—when it is so clear to them that the 12 Steps can help any person (addicted or not)—this proven program for healthy change is not more widely utilized. That is why the book Life Anonymous was written. Kristin and Scott use their personal and professional journeys to show how every person can use the 12 Steps to ignite profound change. Kristin’s Super Saturday presentation is based on the material in this book, and her many years as an addiction therapist.
Dr. David Fawcett, 5 p.m. Eastern
