Who Answers?

Each month, In the Rooms and Seeking Integrity Treatment Centers present an online Super Saturday Recovery Summit. These events have proven to be an overwhelming success, with three experts on recovery discussing and answering questions on topics related to both early and longer-term sobriety and healing.

Our next Super Saturday Recovery Summit is set for Saturday, October 17th. Presenters at this month’s summit include Dr. Ken Adams, Debra Kaplan, and Dr. Sophia Caudle.

Dr. Ken Adams, 1 p.m. Eastern
Overcoming Enmeshment

Dr. Ken Adams began his professional career in 1981 treating children, adolescents, and their families. In 1985, he began private practice with the Children of Alcoholic Parents program, an outpatient program for adults who had grown up in alcoholic families. It was there that he first noticed how many of these clients had enmeshment issues. He wrote his first article on the topic in 1987. Since that time, he has written two books and numerous peer-reviewed articles on addiction, covert incest, and enmeshment. His books include Silently Seduced and When He’s Married to Mom. Both are landmarks in the field of psychology and relationships.
