This year’s conference, being held virtually on April 23–24, 2025, brings together leading researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and advocates from around the world. It serves as a forum for sharing cutting-edge findings, cultivating professional mentorship opportunities, and addressing the pressing challenges faced in the realm of recovery science.
The 2025 conference centers around three transformative themes:

NCARS not only provides a platform to showcase research but also creates opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. The event underscores the importance of data-driven approaches while amplifying the voices of those with lived experiences, ensuring that recovery strategies are both effective and empathetic.
The mentorship programs at NCARS are particularly noteworthy, nurturing the next generation of researchers and professionals. By fostering collaboration across various fields, NCARS is equipping attendees with the tools and insights needed to revolutionize addiction recovery practices.
