my daily reflections…

there are times i can let my self-will overwhelm the spiritual health ive worked hard through my recovery to develop. havin figuratively walked through an arch toward bein a free man, ive gained some self-respect and have an understandin of the humility i want to live today. i must remember the work i did durin my early recovery and the barriers ive overcome since. when i use emotional intelligence i get to draw upon an unfailin source of assurance, confidence, power, and security. when trouble comes, and it reliably will, i dont have to sink to the levels of the spiritual malady i no longer need. i get to stand on a firm foundation of confidence, integrity, and faith. i get to embrace the growth and transformation essential when faced with a spiritual crisis. i get to relax and take it easy. 1 day @ a time...
