my recovery today involves cultivatin awareness and focusin on the here and now. from this i get to share in the benefits of mindfulness in my recovery. with this mindfulness i get to manage stress by keepin my attention on the present moment, rather than dwellin on past regrets or future worries. when practicin livin in the now, i gain the comprehension to enhance my ability to concentrate and stay grounded in the present in the current events happenin, not only in my life, but in the lives of the ones i love. i get to understand how my spiritual development allows me to accept my experiences without judgment, which helps me manage overwhelmin emotions and desires to step into self-will. when i use the techniques like mindful breathin and meditation i promote an inner stillness and self-control, contributin to an overall sense of spiritual awareness in my life. ive learned, this mindfulness isnt the sole solution, but its a powerful tool to aidin my long-term recovery from my alcoholism. 1 day @ a time...
