responsibility takes a lot of courage and strength. it takes confidence in my own ability to stand with fortitude on my skill, experience, and self-understandin. and to say there is an element of risk, i feel would be an understatement. when it comes to my self-worth today, i take a sense of pride within knowin that i weigh options more than i ever used to. i dont tend to shoot from the hip any longer. nor am i not willin to listen or take into consideration where i may have made mistakes. in the days of doin my dirt i was self-conscious to a default. today is different, i can accept the consequences of my behavior, word, action, and thought processes. i get to take into consideration how each of the personal characteristics mentioned get to be a potential asset in others’ lives, as well as my own. it is a blessin to be able to see my part, organize time, keep promises, and honor commitments made. 1 day @ a time...
