my ability to grow in spiritual awareness and develop a reliance upon the guidance of my HP gives me the courage to accept my humanness. with a sense of humility, i can release the self-will to partake in self-pity and fearful self-loathin. i become able to see the world around me as an adventurous and purposeful place to develop truth, justice, and love for it, and most importantly, myself. acceptin who and what i am, an alcoholic in recovery, i dont have to fall prey to the disturbances my alcoholism begs me to participate in. i get to live the confidence ive grown and see the contrary recovery has shown me is the reality. with self-acceptance and a spiritual connection to my HP, i become well within. livin toward better affect. 1 day @ a time…
