my daily reflections…

the practice of recovery, especially step 11, provides me with a sense of humility which opens me to a spiritual relationship with my HP. with the integrity ive developed i can live toward a life that doesnt require me to seek material, financial, or any other acceptance, which when rejected by the world, causes me to sink into self-pity creatin the selfish need to isolate. ive lived the loneliness of isolation while doin my dirt. ive felt the rejection of others i had demanded to give me the dependence i required. today i can accept me and recovery has shown me how i can have a healthy relationship with myself so i do not need to seek the dependence of others. with a healthy spiritual relationship with my HP i get to be who i am and live to give the love others may need without the demand, or dependence of receipt, from them. it feels good to live as, a part of, today. 1 day @ a time…
