today i get to have options that were unavailable to me durin the days of doin my dirt. back then, i was unaware that i could make choices beyond my own desires and impulses, and even if i had been aware, i likely wouldnt have recognized them coz they were hidden by my alcoholism. today, i have the opportunity to actively engage in my recovery, makin conscious decisions about my path forward. this involves committin to various activities, such as ongoin self-reflection, participatin in recoverin community support, assistin others, reachin out to help when necessary, and nurturin a healthy relationship with my HP. these positive choices empower me to stay engaged, both within the recovery community or out, and in my personal life. 1 day @ a time…
