my daily reflections…

today i get to know happiness, peace, and usefulness, in a way of life that is incredibly more wonderful as time passes. it is due to my willingness to walk with my partners in recovery. there was a time in the days of doin my dirt that the only time i felt like i wanted anythin to do with someone else was to only use them for my own means. today it aint like that. i have learned the value of friendship and fellowship. i understand that i alone cannot make recovery work for me. when i give up on my spiritual malady i am blessed with the opportunity to work and walk alongside others toward a common solution that benefits both of us. with an understandin that i can build relationships with others based on the experience of the relationship i have built with my HP, i get to be a part of somethin, one of many. with faith in recovery i get to grow my spirituality while practicin what i have learned about myself through the process of the 12 steps, as i interact and commune with others daily. when i walk with those in recovery on our search for right livin and happiness we get to find that it was within us all along. we no longer have to fear the march of duty durin dull, dark days alone. as His children we get to discover Gods smile of recognition for our faithfulness and the true happiness found within of a life well lived. learnin to have become responsible for my own spirituality with the willingness to pray that i may help another because they may need my help, we, together get to live for the freedom of inner happiness, we are freed. learnin from the lessons of our past, our own separate mistakes, together we get to approximate our individual goals, take risks with faith, and gain the knowledge that one of the most important parts of our life journey is the act of learnin and lettin go of defeatist attitudes. together, we get to know happiness, peace, and usefulness, in a way of life that is incredibly more wonderful as time passes. this is recovery worked together, as partners, not alone and separated, for my fellows, and for me. we. humility. service. brotherly love. 1 day @ a time...
